Dr. Marum is originally from Australia. She spent much of her childhood there, in addition to several other countries, which helps explain her accent of variable intensity and dialect. She arrived in the United States with her parents in the early 1990s and entered the University of Florida in Gainesville. Tiffany spent the next seven years in Gainesville, Florida obtaining a Bachelor of Science and Doctorate in Medicine.
Upon graduating from family medicine residency at the Medical College of Virginia, Tiffany relocated to the Durham area with her family. She obtained Board Certification from the American Academy of Family Physicians and became a licensed provider with the North Carolina Medical Board.
Dr. Marum has the experience of numerous and diverse settings. She feels that her broad and varied background has been advantageous to her clinical skills and professional happiness.
Tiffany rarely has free time or a dull moment, but when she does, she enjoys reading a wide range of material from textbooks to fiction. She also enjoys music, photography, her dogs, art, writing, beer and wine tasting, gourmet food sampling (in reality any food sampling), and long peaceful walks with her children (yet to be realized).
